Died on 23 October 1916.     Remembered at the Vimy Memorial.

The son of John and Elizabeth Sconce.

Private Samuel Hancock SCONCE, 18466, 7th Service Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment.

Died 30th September 1916.   Age 31.    Remembered at the Thiepval Memorial.

The son of Henry and Rhoda Allie Sconce and the husband of Sarah Susan Cotton of Wednesbury.

Born in Chester and enlisted in Wednesbury.
